In the summer of 2019, the remains of the “Clotilda” were discovered in the Mobile Bay delta. The Clotilda is the last known ship to bring kidnapped Africans to the United States to be sold as slaves. The men, women and children aboard that ship would go on to form Africatown in the area between Mobile and Prichard, Alabama.
One of the survivor’s descendants, Darron Patterson, reached out to us to help share their story. Thus, The Clotilda story was born. The Clotilda Story provides news and items of interest to descendants, as well as a place for the Clotilda Descendants Association to share information.
We designed and developed a customized WordPress site, and placed them on a customer care plan. Now Darron and his fellow descendants can focus their efforts on serving the community of Africatown and the descendants of the Clotilda.
Customer Care Plan
“In a professional career that has spanned three decades and involved numerous Fortune 100 companies, including Ford Motor Company and General Motors, I have not dealt with a provider that possesses the customer-driven service that CodeBright Solutions brings to the table.“
